I've already created this as an improvement, but since nothing is happening, I take the liberty of creating it as a bug as well, hoping that this will speed up the process, sorry :-)

I've made a few patches to the SwfLifecycleExecutor class to get it working on a portal server.

I don't mean to sound rude, but I don't understand why you haven't looked at issue ICE-3560 yet. As it is now, the SwfLifecycleExecutor is not working on ANY portal server. This means that the availability to use Spring Web Flow AND ICEfaces on a portal server is not existing at the moment. This again means that every time you release a new version of ICEfaces, people have to manually patch the SwfLifecycleExecutor in order to get it working on a portal server. Maybe there are not that many out there who combines ICEfaces and Spring Web Flow on a portal server :-) But I still think that you should look into fixing this issue.

I'll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have to the code I've provided, so please reconsider having a look at ICE-3560.
