      Description

With the provided PDF file, it renders the content as partially blank. In 6 it seems to display the blank parts with a pink-ish hue. In 5.1 it renders as blank/white. I don't see any errors in the logs.

The PDF is encoded with fourform elements that cover up the page content. Acrobat isn't rendering these form elements. Further investigation is needed.

I've looked at every object in the document and I can't figure out why adobe isn't rendering the form elements. When I open the the file in most other popular PDF viewers the form elements are rendered as expected. The form element that has a white background and that is obscuring the the page content actually has a name "_MASTERControlObscure_" which makes me think something else is happening here.

Arran can you check with the client if they are seeing a lot of documents like this?

There appears to be a company MasterControl which has some feature that prevents a PDF content from being printed. If this is the case they are liking using a flag or perhaps a custom plugin, will look into further.

I'm pretty confident that we aren't rendering this PDF the same way as Adobe because of our lack of support for http://jira.icesoft.org/browse/PDF-401 , structure hierarchy.

I've double checked and three of the four annotation components as far as I can tell should be shown. The one labled _2_ has flags set to hide it.

Marking as fixed. PDF content is now rendered. Purple tinge can be turned off by deselecting field annotation highlight mode.
