            Description

            A client has reported that every once in a while they have to restart their production servers due to a font rendering issue. The issue shows up every one to three days which likely means there is some rare threading issue. When working on PDF-656 I experienced similar rendering behavior but it was for a different issue.

            My guess here is that there is a initialization race condition in the FontDescriptor class. This bug will track the changes needed to property synchronize the initialization of the class.
