            Description

            The input text and choice components for Acroforms currently do not support the creation of a contents stream that contains Asian characters. PDF-1081 has fixed encoding issue with parameter values but further work is need to fix the content stream.

            The basic problem is setting the correct font when Asian glyphs are encounter. This means that we must insert the necessary font and encoding data and generated the necessary shift for the text layout.

            I think we have all the pieces we need to get to work but inserting font data can be tricky, especially across different platforms.
