menuButton highlight longer than component width

            Clicking on the menuButton causes a highlight that's longer than the width of component.

              This component needs to be reviewed. The widths for the internal span and select were being set to different widths. This has been updated, but the problem of fixed widths is still there. If the content is too large, it will wrap out of view.
