            A workaround for the rendered attribute is to add an ice:panelGroup around the desired tab and toggle it's rendered attribute.

            Description

            Nice to have attributes on both the TabView and Tab composite components include:

            - rendered
            - disabled
            - tabChangeListener

                Nils, please give an estimate as to how long this will take. The fix will definately be for 2.0 but will also need to be backport to the the 1.8.2 .repo/icepack/trunk.

                Resolving this issue as all of these features are available in the new ACE TabSet Component http://wiki.icefaces.org/display/ICE/TabSet
