            Description

            Our CDI guessnumber app doesn't seem to be working on WAS 8 with MyFaces 2.2. I tried following the steps again mentioned on our wiki (http://wiki.icesoft.com/display/IFEE2/ICEfaces+CDI+Sample+Application) as well as the steps mentioned in the IBM developerWorks forum (https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/forums/html/topic?id=6eaab321-76d4-42ab-8ae6-e366994448f4).

              We've decided to remove this sample that was originally done for JSF 2.1 and ICEfaces EE 3.3.x under IPCK-541.

              In addition, a new QA regression test has been created to verify CDI functionality during release testing. We don't feel this example warrants inclusion in the release bundle going forward, however.
