ice:selectInputText - Menu doesn't close on selection

            Description

            When selecting an option from the drop down menu of the ice:selectInputText component, the drop down menu will sometimes not be removed. Clicking outside of the drop down area will hide the menu.

              Attached test case and source code to reproduce issue.

              Note: The ICEfaces EE 3.3.0 Ace and Compat Jar files have been removed from the war to fit in the upload limits.

              Steps:

              • Load welcomeICEfaces.jsf
              • Enter in a character in the input field.
              • Select an option from the drop down.
              • I found that sometimes the menu would be cleared but sometimes it wouldn't be.

              Note that likely related issue specific to IE is ICE-8706.
