            Use the ICE or ACE components instead.

            Description

            When using 'org.icefaces.deltaSubmit=true' the required validation for input fields is fired even when a value is selected or provided.

              Attached test case to reproduce issue.

              Steps:

              • Make a selection from the drop down box
              • Click on the 'Test' button, required validation will fire even though an item is selected.

              Yes, indeed. Same issue as in ICE-8714.
