            Description

            The current behavior for the filterEvent=change is to send a filter even on every change. This includes when using the arrow keys. Attempting to change the cursor position in the input field results in the cursor being sent to the end of the text. The reason for this is from the code implemented to keep the focus in the filter field on every request.

                This behavior can be seen on the showcase demo. Filter on a field and try to change the cursor location in the field using the arrow keys. After each keypress it gets sent back to the end.
