When the dateTextChange client event is triggered there is a JS error seen and the values are not updated on the page:

To reproduce:
1. Build / deploy test application from location above (or take attached .war file)
2. Navigate to Calendar Ajax test
3. Use the second test to reproduce the errors ("dateTextChange" Event Test)
