            Description

            Feature Request: Currently when a specific attribute has changed, such as a style/styleClass, the entire element is updated. In certain situations this is causing unexpected behavior.

                Attached test case showing issue. Steps to reproduce:

                • Enter in "Node 0" into the input field. Once the requests are done, select a node in the tree. Ex: "Node 0.0.0"
                • Input field style turns from red to green.
                • Focus into the input field and hit the back space key 3 times.
                • Input field style will change from green to red, only one character is cleared.

                Re-targeting for 3.2 feature release due to unresolvable limitations related to JSF behaviours at this time. Will review status again at the time of 3.2 feature planning.

                The customer can set org.icefaces.diffConfig=att parameter to have attribute updates generated by ICEfaces. The attribute update works well since ICE-8430 was fixed.
