            Description


            Using Microsoft PowerPoint to convert PowerPoint files is problematic: PowerPoint may crash or prompt for user input, neither of which are acceptable for a server-side application.

            Using OpenOffice will be portable to linux and should be more manageable (unfortunately with a drop in quality).

              jodconverter binaries are not yet checked in, so webmc now requires this to compile. jodconverter is LGPL, but that should be acceptable for the WebMC sample.

              JODConverter jar is now checked in with webmc (in the lib directory).
