Rich Input Text portlet: hovering the mouse over in IE causes a JS error: "Ice.FCKeditorUtility is null or not an object"

            Description

            When running the Component Showcase portlets (built on the latest trunk revision of 23172), there is a problem with the Rich Input Text portlet in IE 8. Hovering the mouse over the Rich Input Text component, IE 8 pops up a dialog noting that:

             "Ice.FCKeditorUtility is null or not an object"

            and asking if I'd like to debug. The dialog continues to pop up as you move the mouse around so you can't get rid of it until you move the mouse off the component.

              This issue does NOT occur outside of portlet.

              It does occur on all browsers in portlet mode, if you look at the JS console. Only IE8 brings up a popup to report it.

              By default ICEfaces and Liferay both compress resources thus making the content unintelligible for the browsers.
              The solution applied turns off ICEfaces' resource compression.
