            Description


            As part of the work for ICE-6024, the inputRichText files were added under ice-static. Many of these files do not appear to be needed by the component at runtime (such as source files and .aspx files). The unused files should be removed.

            Future sophisticated components should be selected so that they do not have a complex hierarchy of resources since this complicates resource loading through the JSF 2.0 standard mechanism.

              This is a straightforward optimization but is not critical since the only cost is a slightly larger icefaces-comps.jar.

              Rather than require this optimization for ICEfaces 2.0, we will likely see more benefit from a completely updated rich text editor.
