Description
selectInputDate component triggers validation of other fields.
1)Type an alphabet in the inputtext box (do not press enter

That means the patch (one line) from the user never really worked? The problem seems to be related to lifecycle processing.
1.8.2 validation problem is seen in odd date (not even) . This was the original problem reported in ICE-5158
EE 1.8.2.GA no validation is seen when clicking on calendar dates
EE 1.8.2.GA_P01 validation problem is seen on all clicks (any date)
Looks like this was fixed for EE 1.8.2.GA, and then re-broken somehow in EE 1.8.2.GA_P01.
The test was interpreted wrong. The validation happens not because the calendar component is clicked but because inputtext component has partial submit as true.

This also happens in icefaces trunk, and so may not be a compat regression.
