Regression - Trouble loading demos in Compat component-showcase

            Description

            The compat component showcase app. has numerous issues with this build:

            Safari & Opera 10.1 - Generally works okay, but sometimes switching demos (by clicking the left list of demos) doesn't work and you have to click twice.

            FF3.6 - The application initially loads fine but trying to switch demos causes the page to not load indefinitely.

            IE8 - The application initially loads fine, when user clicks on a demo a security risk popup is shown.

              As of Glimmer svn revision #21407 things are generally working, except for:

              • Selecting the progress bar demo with FF3.6 causes the page to go blank with some request to google.maps in the status bar (bizarre). Might be related to lazy push-init as this is the only demo that uses push. Seems to work okay on Safari though.
              • Trying to download resources, the third link after you name the file, doesn't download anything.

              Assigned ID attribute to the script element that wires up ICEpush to avoid generating an update for the entire body when ICEpush is lazily enabled by switching to Progress Bar panel.

              Issues no longer exist on Glimmer revision 21420

              Tested on Tomcat 6.0.26 using FF3.6, IE8, Opera 10.5, Safari 4

              Download resources demo and Progress bar demo are confirmed working fine in the browsers mentioned above.
