Workaround Description:

Hide
use new netbeans' new JSF page, new Facelets Template, or new Facelets Template client to create page template or page. And then add
xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"
xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"

and also add
xmlns:ice="http://www.icesoft.com/icefaces/component" if you use ICEfaces 1.8 compatibility mode.
or
xmlns:ice="http://icefaces.org/core" if you use ICEface 2.0 components

Description

The startup facelets page provided by ICEfaces tooling does include all possible namespaces as ui, ice, f, and h.

But no icefaces specific new JSF page snippets are provided. We may target it to next release

ICEfaces facelets xhtml, jspx, compatibility xhtml snippet are added

Now ICEfaces has its own category under page template instead of under JSF
