Test app is available at repo\qa\trunk\Regression\ICE-2368

The Auto Center Popup Panel is first loaded by checking the Auto Center check box, but it is not positioned in center when initially brought up to the browser. It positions correctly after the initial loading.

The defect is found with ICEfacesEE-1.8.2-GA release, too.

This problem actually also occurs in component showcase. In component showcase, there are some styles to set the initial position, width and height. If we remove those styles, the problem occurs like in the test app. See video at http://screencast.com/t/MmQ2YjA0

The JS code for centering the dialog hasn't changed since Feb. 2008. Seems the bug has been there all along, i.e. this is no regression. It has never worked at all.

        Hi Yip Ng,

Thanks for creating a new JIRA.

I use many popups and it will be great if you can fix the issue I mentioned.

I also have issues when using only draggable="true" and autoCentre="true". Auto centering is not very smooth when page is being scrolled and that's why I wanted to use positionOnLoadOnly="true".

Thanks again for taking time to see my forum post.
