compat/auctionMonitor clocks do not tick on GlassFish v3

            Description

            Clocks are not ticking when compat/auctionMonitor is deployed to GlassFish v3.

              Logging added to auctionMonitor showed that the @PostConstruct method was not being called. It was not called for the bean as tested in both View scope and Application scope. It is possible that GlassFish v3 is detecting the older web.xml and faces-config.xml files and is not processing annotations because of this.
