      Description

Genuitec QA reported Page preview in visual editor doesn't work on MyEclipse v7.0 for ICEfaces components.

The design time support package for MyEclipse is the same as the one for Eclipse WTP and it is based on Eclipse WTP/JSF.

Genuitec uses previewer from JBoss Tools for all standard components. For standard components, there is no problem but for ICEfaces components it is broken because no ICEfaces designtime renderers defined in JBoss Tools way installed.

Supporting it will be the same effort as supporting JBoss Tools. Temporarily using previewer from Eclipse WTP/JSF is required.

I'm experiencing the same issue with Red Hat Developer studio v1 and Eclipse EE latest version. Does anyone know of a workaround? I may have to switch to RichFaces if there isn't a workaround to this issue since plenty of UI work needs to be done here. I really don;t want to switch unless I'm forced.

This is due to the fact MyEclipse uses richfaces approach for preview mode. It is now turned off from genuitec side.
