selectInputText does not show options after initial selected

            Description

            Steps to replicate the issue:
             - Enter "w" in the text box.
             - Choose an option.
             - Highlight the text in the text box.
             - Enter "s" in the text box.
             - No selections appear.
             - Add the text in again or select the down arrow key to see selections.

            Seems as though the text entered is ignored after the initial selection. It needs another action to get the options to display. This was reproduced using the component-showcase.
