              Greg, this regression is also caused by the fixes you committed for ICE-3424. The ViewRoot is re-created when the reload is trigger thus loosing the "lang" attribute set programmatically by the bean. See the test case at svn/repo/qa/trunk/Regression/ICE-3080.

              Tested successfully on Tomcat 5 and 6 on branch 1.7 revision #17550. Browsers tested are IE 6, Firefox 2, and Opera 9.2.
