For seam-icefaces and <ice:commandButton> which do not have partialSubmit features on the form to do a form submit, (in other words they count on the button to submit the form), the s:decorate tags don't always produce correct html on the component tree. This includes seam-gen new-form target, as well as seam-icefaces sample app that is distributed with Seam, and seam-auctionMonitor application (login for both the last 2 apps).

Problem is with over-riding the standard jsf renderers (sun) with JDK1.6. Use <ice:commandButton> or <ice:commandLink> etc rather than their h:counterparts. Patch will also be in 1.7.2 release of ICEfaces

In ICE-3543, it works with JDK 1.6, but not JDK 1.5.

jboss-4.2.3.GA now comes available for download in 2 different versions. One is with JDK5, other is with JDK6. After retesting the versions and ensuring that the proper JDK is used for java.home for each version, the markup is correct. Can we get QA to run this also to confirm? (seam-icefaces or seam-auctionMonitor on both versions would be fine).
