Uninstall the RC version of the NetBeans plugin and revert to the beta version of the NetBeans plugin (ICEfaces-1.7.1-NetBeans-6.1-modules-beta).

      Description

I updated the NetBeans plugin from the beta version to the rc version. After updating the plugin, the project was rebuilt and deployed to the application server. When the user clicks the "Submit" button, a dialog box is displayed containing the "Network Connection Interrupted" message. The form is also submitted, and the application goes to the next page.

        Hi luther,

not sure why beta bundle help, but RC1 bundle faild. It is the same Run Time libraries. Most changes are made in Design Time.

Could you use RC1 and replace the ICEfaces jar files(icefaces.jar icefaces-comps.jar) in the following directories:

        /User_HOME_DIRECTORY/.netbeans/6.1/modules/ext/icefaces/icefaces-1.7.1

Let me know if it helped solved the problem....

        thanks,
        Frank

I went through a process of eliminate before deternining that the problem was due to a bug in the RC version. I re-installed the app server so that I would have a clean slate, reverted to a previous known good version of the code (eliminate any changes / errors I made). In each case I experienced the same error. I then uninstalled the RC version of the plugin and re-installed the beta version. Everything then worked as expected. I then added my most recent changes back into the code base, and they also worked as expected. As a further verification, I re-installed the RC version of the plugin into the IDE, and the error started happening again.
