SelectInputDate isn't working when date value is written directly

            Description

            SelectInputDate component isn't working when date value is written date directly, without popup component.
            So, for example, if I have filled a date and I want to erase it, I can't do it, because popup component doesn't let me.

            Maybe this is related to ICE-2927
