Column height grows vertically when mouse is positioned over column resizing handles in a Liferay portlet

      Description

When I try the "Resizable Columns" demo in the WEBAPP component showcase, resizing the columns seems to work fine.

But when I try the portlet version, when I position the mouse over the resize handles, the column title cells begin to grow vertically. See attached screenshot to see what I mean.

This should be easy to reproduce, using the Ant build.portlet.war target provided in the Component Showcase build scripts. I just took the WAR that it generated and dropped it in my $HOME/liferay/deploy folder and Liferay detected it and hot-deployed it.

Note that this growing header issue only occurs in Liferay, doesn't happen in a non-portlet environment so it is likely related to some interaction between the Liferay theme styling and the component styling. Perhaps a change to the xp-portlet.css can be made to fix it.
