File upload component does not always show correct status

            Description

            File upload component does not show the correct status of the file being uploaded.

            1) Some times it does not show any status at all, but when user revisits the component the status is updated.
            2) Some times it shows certain % progress and then stops, when the user revisits the component , file upload completed status is displayed.
            3) Some times it takes a long time to show the status of the file being uploaded (the file size is not too large).
            4) Some times the status is not updated even when user revisits the page.

            Note: User does not have to upload a lot of files to reproduce this problem, it seems random. It can happen on the very first upload too.
