Description
The panelCollapsible component can enter an undesirable state if the user rapidly expands/collapses a panel. After repeated expand/collapse operations the client-side JS that expands and collapses the component will stop working, leaving the component in a broken, inoperable state.
In order to make the 1.6 release deadline, an interim solution has been applied which remove the client-side JS "slidedown" and "slideup" effects from the component. This seems to alleviate the problem, although the component will simply snap from being collapsed to expanded now, instead of using the animation to get there.
A follow-on JIRA case has been created to add effects support back to the panelCollapsible component: http://jira.icefaces.org/browse/ICE-1808.
