In general, the portal project is moving along much quicker than I
anticipated, which is a good thing. If we are considering making an
announcement of ICEfaces / Liferay integration by mid june (ie. Tied to our
1.6.0 production release) I think it is incumbent on us to provide some form
of working demo. Even though we might acknowledge the integration as being
"preliminary" we need to have vehicle to showcase. The better this thing
looks going out, the more leverage it is going to give us with folks at
Jboss and BEA. It also serves as a good test bed to validate the level of
integration for ourselves. An appropriate demo might be doing component
showcase demo as a portal, and / or demonstrating how the auction monitor
might be included as a portlet. In any event I view this as a high priority
task given the timelines we have been discussin
