SEAM & Icefaces when session is invalid or timed out can cause ReceivePing exception

            Description

            after logging out of the seam-gen icefaces project, get an NullPointerException in either the ReceivePing.service() or PersistentFacesServlet.service() which then triggers the Conversation.init() (which is null so more exceptions)....the conversation stack is empty since the session is no longer valid, and the exceptions keep rolling on.
            This is an inconsistent error, but happens more often than not in this circumstance. Also happens when the app times out.
