activated Menu doesn't cover outputConnectionStatus component

        Hopefully this is just a z-index priority issue. The outputConnectionStatus comp. needs to use z-index to ensure the label displays on top of the images, but the overall component shouldn't display on top of any other default z-indexed content.

        The connection status label is displayed on top by using the image as a background, not by setting z-index values.
