      Description

Created this JIRA to track some fixes that were implemented for a customer issue where their Clock stopped sending updates.

      Comment on this issue:
"Yes, it is the “updates” cookie. It fills up, new updates cannot be written to it and thus no requests for updates are issued. I will try first to understand why the viewID accumulate. Then maybe find a strategy for cleaning up the IDs that have not been used in a while."

A fix was made on a patched P04 release and confirmed by the customer. Upon upgrade to the P08 release, they are now seeing this issue again.

I believe you meant to have the patch migrated to 1.8 trunk. that is where I applied support case #12054 patch.
