Description
Right now the <ace:gMapServices name="Distance"/> just shows a Javascript popup with the desired distance. This value is accurate, but not very useful to a developer as it can't be accessed from a bean or other JSF component.
Ideally this Distance value could be bound to a bean or somehow passed to the Java layer. As a workaround we can directly access the Google Map API to get the Distance from the JSON response, but that's a bit of a hassle and counterintuitive to how the rest of the component functions.
