      Description

      A server-side ace:tabSet doesn't seem to properly switch its content and state when the attribute:

      showEffect="fade"

      is used.

      I noticed this when migrating from 3.3 to 4.0, in that I have an ace:tabSet that was working as expected in 3.3, but wasn't in 4.0. I tried a few approaches to fix it, but all that was necessary to get the content to display on tab switch, and the proper tab to highlight, was to remove showEffect="fade".

        Make ace-tabset.js resource depend on animation.js since the tabset could potentially apply animation effects when switching tabs.
