            Description

            The forum post discuses an issue with ligature mapping with regards to copying of text. For example PDF-418 describes an issue when LIGATURE_MAP[64257] = "fi" is encountered in the word "find" but a search for "find" will fail because of 64257 instead of 'f' and 'i'.

            The user in the forms would like to have search work as described in PDF-418 but preserve the original ligature code for copy/paste actions.

              Hi Patrick

              We are currently using IcePDF pro 5.0.6 and one of our colleagues, Kristoffer, in the past had raised the issue mentioned here in PDF-789.
              As per the above comment, the issue was fixed in 5.2 version. However, 5.2 version is not available for download.
              So,we have used IcePDF pro 6.0.2 trial version to test the same and found that the issue still persists.

              Could you let us know how soon can we expect the issue to be resolved?

              Added an accessor method to allow the ligature mapping to be manipulated. The characters AE and ae have been removed from the mapping.

              Fixed on the truck and 6.1 branch.
