Description
The forum post discuses an issue with ligature mapping with regards to copying of text. For example PDF-418 describes an issue when LIGATURE_MAP[64257] = "fi" is encountered in the word "find" but a search for "find" will fail because of 64257 instead of 'f' and 'i'.
The user in the forms would like to have search work as described inPDF-418 but preserve the original ligature code for copy/paste actions.
