Description
Image imageCapture1_0.png attached to this JIRA is an output image after conversion of the servlet.pdf into *.png.
Code used for conversion has been taken from:
http://wiki.icefaces.org/display/PDF/Converting+PDF+Page+Renderings
To reproduce:
- Get sample application that has been attached to this JIRA (this is a Netbeans project):
- Add ICEpdf jars from binary open source release to your project (http://www.icepdf.org/downloads.html)
- Run Main.java to create an image from servlet.pdf (set args[0] to the absolute path of the pdf in your file system)
- Run org.icepdf.ri.viewer.Main to launch ice viewer then open PDF from there.
P.S. servlet.pdf has been attached to this JIRA.

Customer comments:
We have some PDF files that are displaying black bars where the text of the docuement should appear when converting the PDF files to PNG images using the ICEpdf API (the viewer application also has the same problem). The common thread that I have found is that the documents all list Microsoft Publisher 2010 as the PDF Producer. If we create the PDF file using PDF Creator they display properly. I will upload an example of a file that has the issue.

This was fixed for 4.3.2 I think, as it was a high priority issue for Macy's. Suspect there might have been a duplicate bug in play. Closing.
Image masking issue related to the MS Publishing source document.
