Workaround Description:ICEpdf 4.1.3 uses a new CYMK colour space converter. Image are still a little dark but overall image quality has be greatly improved.
Description
This has bean a long standing bug with how we apply CMYK colour model to some image types. There is foot note in the 4.8.5 Masked Images section that might shed some light on the problem. The PDF in question showd the images as being very blue as as I result I suspect the colour model might be incorrectly applied.
Here is a sample of the image dictionary that is likely responsible for the issue.
/Intent/RelativeColorimetric
/Subtype/Image
/Length 64768
/Filter/DCTDecode/
Name/X/
BitsPerComponent 8
/ColorSpace/DeviceCMYK
/Width 465
/Height 349
/Type/XObject
