The most basic login feature is to support basic authentication. This can be reproduced by attempting to use the tomcat Manager App from the home page of a local tomcat install.

The android implementation for this has been achieved. It uses the onReceivedHttpAuthReques() member of WebViewClient to put up a dialog to collect user name and password. SVN commit 28979.

Login feature has been implemented for iOS container. Due to the nature of the UIWebView API, login requirements are only detected for the request that starts the container and requests specified as URLs by the user.
