      Description

BridgeIt would allow data to be copied between browser local storage and the BridgeIt App filesystem. From there, it could be saved to the user's desktop, iCloud, or other cloud storage service.

This would also allow collaborative applications that operate through Cloud Storage rather than a server-side web application.

It may be necessary for BridgeIt to store videos offline as the HTML5 cache manifest directive is reported to have problems with video caching:

Tested on iOS and the video is cached offline:

        http://bridgeit.github.io/edge/offline.html

Android Chrome did not cache the video, however.

This appears to be an effective technique to support the video chat application in an offline mode.
