splitPane height resizing should try to adjust for parent tabsets

            Description

            The splitPane was designed to be a top-level layout container below the pagePanel, and so, doesn't attempt to adjust the automatic height resizing for other layout components, such as the tabset. This means that if you nest a splitPane inside a tabset, the resized height of the splitPane will be too large by the amount of the height of the parent tabset tabs. It would be preferable if we attempted to detect parent tabsets and decrease the height accordingly.
