Description
We observes in IE8 a number of extra requests
to validate cached images. These are "full" HTTP
requests that occur at roughly the same time as
the Ajax requests from user events, so may be
interfering. For instance, when a data table is
rendered true/false, the (datatable) paginator image expiry will
be validated at the server.
Various forum postings seem to indicate that
setting the Expires header is a good way to prevent
the If-Modified-Since requests.
