            Description


            Sort state restoration during a invalidated submit causes a null pointer exception because there is no sort state to restore.

              ICE-8652 - Prevent sort state restoration from causing NPE. Sorting / filtering is applied without state alterations when the backing data model changes or on the first render of the data table. Should a validation failure occur in either case, restoration is no longer attempted as no changes have been made.
