            Description

            As of ICEfaces 2.0.2, the ICEfaces compat "ice" components do not support the JSF 2 <f:ajax> tag in a comprehensive manner.

            It is expected that most ICEfaces 2 users would want to use ICEfaces' automatic-ajax features instead of having to specify <f:ajax> tags in their page, so this support was given a lower priority in the initial ICEfaces 2 development.

            However, it would be useful in some circumstances to be able to use <f:ajax> with the ice: components. This JIRA is to add complete support for <f:ajax> to the ICEfaces Components (compat).
