PartialSubmit on modal panelPopup causes modal background to disappear

            Move the panelPopup to the same form as the component opening it.

            Description

            When a partialSubmit is called on an input in a modal panelPopup the modal background is cleared. This only happens when the panelPopup is in a separate form than the button/link that shows it. If the button/link that opens the popup is in the same form then the modal background stays on all partialSubmits.

            This is also not an issue with ICEfaces EE 1.8.2_P01.

              I cannot reproduce the issue. It's possible that the fixes applied for popups have also fixed this issue.

              I've tested my test case with the latest trunk build. I can still reproduce this issue using the new fixes.

              Here are the steps that I did to reproduce the issue:

              • Click on the "Open Outside Form" Button.
              • Modal popup is shown with two input text boxes.
              • Focus to the text box and either enter something and tab out or just tab out.
              • Partial Submit is fired and the modal background is gone.

              Stop sending JS call to Ice.modal.stop() function, the function is now invoked from a callback since the refactoring for ICE-5652.

              Tested successfully on Icefaces1.8 trunk revision# 24679, Tomcat6 using FF3.6, IE8 & Chrome10 browsers.
