Description
ICEfaces 2 beta2 promotes use of one namespace for 2 different component sets with 2 namespaces. The rule of thumb is that if sparkle is included use icefaces.org and if only if compat is included use icesoft.com namespace.
Eclipse design time checks taglib.xml for basic info. And also requires metadata files (3 files) for overriding basic info and more design time related info. If there is confliction for key info such as namespace uri, which acts as id, one of component set simply gets blocked.
We have done extensive investigation and try out. This idea is simply doesn't work.
