selectInputDate "required" attribute not working when calendar popup is open

      This is a follow-on issue from ICE-2927 which was fixed for 1.7.2.

      required="true" isn't honoured when the popup is open. When a page is loaded, if the popup is opened, then a submit occurs, it will just submit null without complaint.

      QA verified that when the calendar popup is open, with required="true", there's no validation on null date input.

      Verified on ICEfaces trunk subversion: 19088
      The test app can be found at repo\qa\trunk\Regression\ICE-2927

      To reproduce:
      - build the test app using ant clean tomcat6.0, and deploy it to tomcat6
      - in the second row, click on the calendar button to bring up the popup
      - click on the Submit button at the bottom. There's no validation for the second calendar
      - if click Submit while the popup is closed, the second calendar will have a validation
