Possible memory leak for Opera 9.63 browser

            Description

            Running overnight memory test on Opera 9.63
            memory usage started with 37856K and jumped to 695,448K
            minimize/maximize the browser window doesn't seem to help.

            Tests using same ICEfaces revision with Opera 9.27 showed no problems: initial mem usage: 21,416K, end mem usage: 22,368K.

            Something has changed in the Opera browser's memory mgmt. between these two release versions.

              This increased memory consumption occurs with Opera 9.63 with ICEfaces 1.7.2-SP1 as well.

              Opera has changed, not ICEfaces. It may not even be a real memory leak as a lot of the memory is recovered if you minimize the browser.

              We won't pursue this any further as it appears to be an Opera version-specific issue.
