    • Labels:

    • Environment:

      Description

There is currently no message bundle for the outputConnectionStatus component dialogue messages. This a big issue for our 40% plus non North American users, not to mention that fact that our own country has two official languages.

It would be a important improvement to the outputConnection component and Bridge code to support some for of internationalization. Ideally the component would pick up on the locale of the browser but should also have the ability tobe easily modified by developers.

Beside the static text, all the style information is also within the javascript. In my opinion it belongs in the css files, that should be changed as well. Maybe this would also be important for the localization, for example when one wants to change the text align to right, because the language he uses is right-to-left.

I think this is, at least partly, solved here: http://jira.icefaces.org/browse/ICE-3016. Maybe someone can close it?
